Who is Isabelle Duchesneau
Isabelle Duchesneau has 35 years' experience in the tourism industry as a manager and teacher. In 2012, she took over as General Manager of the Monastère des Augustines, where she orchestrated the creation of an innovative concept combining tourism, heritage, culture and global health, while reinterpreting the mission of the founders of this almost four-hundred-year-old historic site in a contemporary and secular way. Today, as founding director and head of strategic development, she is actively involved in the co-creation of phase 2 of this unique project to ensure its sustainability. Sensitive to global and sustainable health issues, she values the development of regenerative tourism that actively contributes to the well-being of visitors, host communities and the environment.

A recognized expert in the development of French-speaking tourism, Pierre Eloy, CEO of Touristic, places at the heart of his approach a strong conviction: intentional intelligence and the notion of "taking care" are essential to creating a sustainable and authentic territorial appeal. An advocate of tourism on a human scale, he promotes simple, authentic experiences that break away from standardized models. Based in Bordeaux, his company is committed to tourism that respects territories and communities. Through his interventions and training courses, he helps tourism professionals to become "Trusted Local Experts": passionate ambassadors, able to tell the story of their territory with sincerity.
